For training to be carried out on your premises we would require the below :-
The HIAB must be safe for use and have a valid thorough examination certificate.
A room for theoretical input (required on the first and last day of training.  The room must consist of -
  • a table and chair for each delegate,
  • 1 x 240v plug socket,
  • Reasonable tempreture,
  • Paper and pen for each delegate.
We will require a training area that does not pose any hazards to people attending the course.  The instructor must be allowed to cordon off this area.
The training area must be at least 25 metres away from any overhead obstructions.
A variety of different loads to sling if the training involves a hook attachment.
3 x packs of brick/block if the training involves a brick clamp attachment.
Stable mound of any aggregate if the training involves a bucket grab attachment.
Lifting tackle to have a LOLER thorough examination certificate for inspection.
All delegates must be equipped with the correct PPE for training.
The course involves maintenance lessons and our instructor may need access to diesel, grease, grease guns, selection of oils through out the duration of the course - please could you make this available.
