Course Introduction

The NPORS 107 course, which focuses on Lorry Mounted Hydraulic Loaders, is a comprehensive training program designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out safe and efficient operations involving lorry loaders. This course covers various aspects of using lorry-mounted hydraulic loaders, emphasizing safety, competence, and effective handling of loads. In this course, participants will gain essential skills in basic slinging and signaling techniques, as well as the proper procedures for raising, transporting, and landing loads. Additionally, the course includes instruction on creating and implementing lifting plans, ensuring that all operations are carried out with the utmost safety and efficiency.

One of the key components of the NPORS 107 course is safety. Participants will learn how to conduct operations in a manner that minimizes the risk of accidents, injuries, and damage to property. This includes understanding the importance of proper load slinging and signaling, which is crucial for preventing accidents and ensuring the security of loads during transportation and lifting.

This ensures that participants are well-prepared to handle real-world scenarios in a responsible and professional manner.

In addition, the NPORS 107 course emphasizes the development of lifting plans. Participants will learn how to assess and plan lifting operations, taking into account factors such as load weight, center of gravity, and the equipment’s lifting capacity. This planning ensures that all lifting operations are carried out in a well-organized and controlled manner.

Overall, the NPORS 107 course is a valuable training opportunity for individuals who work with lorry-mounted hydraulic loaders. It provides the skills and knowledge necessary to perform these tasks safely and efficiently, reducing the risk of accidents and increasing the productivity of operations.
